I have had a Small Spotbreast Angelfish for a few months.

He has grown and does try to eat. Looks and Acts Healthy (Swims Actively, Holds his Territory with other fish).

I have noticed that he really just want's flake food. Specifically (OMEGA ONE Marine Flakes with Garlic).

I have tried all kinds of foods to improve his eating.

- Various/Types of sizes of (Omega One) Pellets
- Regular Frozen Brine Shrimp
- (HIKARI) Spirolina Frozen Brine Shrimp.
- (LRS) "Reef Frenzy" NANO
- (Piscine Energetics) PE-Mysis & PE-Calanus

(EVEN SOAKED in Seachem Garlic Guard.)
All fish go nuts[ During any feeding times] , and so does the Spotbreast Angel, but I notice he's not eating anything.

Also tried (Julian Sprung's - Purple Seaweed Sheets), which are the Yellow Tangs Favourite.

Sure I can just continue to give the Flake which I do daily. But I don't like to feed flake too much to pollute the tank.

Is there anything else I can try? (THat someone has had success with (Specifically for a Spotbreast Angel).

Read there are Specific Angelfish Preparations (on LivAquaria.com). He is my only Angelfish since this is and SPS only tank.

I have no idea what's up with him. (Maybe Nothing, since he does swim around like all is ok.).

OR maybe he is eating, but small stuff I can't see. (I do feed the Tank Live Tigger CopePods for my Mandarin [Weekly]).

Will watch more closely his behaviour, and appearance (now that this has come to my attention).

The NLS New Life Spectrum pellets are a better choice IMO and IME. Even pinicky eaters love them. You should get a small jar and give them a try.

I've got a Hector's goby and he will not eat any food I feed the tank accept for the NLS, he turns down mysis, brine and LRS but goes crazy over the NLS pellets. I fed Omega one and Hikari in the past and fish would eat them but not like they do the NLS.

Interest that your should mention NFS.

When I got that Angel, and he was in quarantine, I did try NFS (Grow) since the pellets are small.

He did eat them and maybe still does.

I actually have been trying to get all my fish on Pellets, since it's the least waste food, and works great in AutoFeeders.

Tried many. (Here is my Dry Food Collection, mostly un-used)

LFS store told me I just need to STARVE all fish for a while and give nothing but Pellets for a week or so. They will eventually learn.

Never had the patience. But must do some day.
