Not sure if I put this in the right section. I saw this neat little fish in a LFS the other day and was wondering what it is. The closest thing I could find was the forktail fang blenny, Meiacanthus atrodorsalis, but a lot of the pictures I was finding the fish had really prominent yellow and/or no black on the dorsal fin. So what does everyone think, am I close or not so much?

Thanks guys for the replies! I had thought of the white blenny, but ruled it out as the tail shape is different from the unidentified fish and it is solid white, compared to the one I pictured that has the yellowness on the back half. After further research I'm fairly convinced it was a blackline blenny. Cute little fish whatever it was and it had quite the bold personality.

Bennies can hold their own against some pretty large sized fish... Love their tenacity
