Hey guys,

Looking for a suggestion. My fuge light (which was a single Solarmax HE T5) crapped out on me last night. Looking to replace it asap....

I can run it when I am home for a day or two but wouldn't trust it otherwise.

The Refugium is a 20 gallon long. I'd like something 'plug and play' that I don't have to do any wiring on etc. DOesn't need a timer or anything as I can plug it into the apex....

recommendations for something that will cover the tank (30x12x12). Chaeto and caulerpa......

Thanks
Steve

6500K CFL 100W bulb and a clamp on light fixture from HD together for $10. Will grow the heck out of cheato and caulerpa.

I picked up one of these a few weeks ago and it seems to grow algae in my fuge like crazy.

Melev from Melev's Reef did a great write up on a PAR38 bulb. It's a good read and I'm sure you can find it if you search. I had success with that bulb for years. I switched to an LED bulb, which works but not as well.
