3 large xenias and a huge gorgorian that I've had flourishing for 6 months are dying over the last few days. Today I can watch them shrink and have seen bits falling off. First thought, I added 3 Kessil 360's last week and may not have acclimated them slow enough? Parameters are all good, flow has not changed. Recent 15% WC. Calcium seems to be high, DKH seems a bit low at 7, PH at 8.2, salinity 1.024, temp 78. Also recent addition of a lot of palys and zoas- palytoxin in water? All other corals, fish, inverts doing great. I thought at first kessils were to bright but also, I've had them turned down to blue a lot and have only had them on when I'm at home 8-9 hours so maybe not enough light?

Thank you guys in advance!

What lights did you have on the tank before. If your running the blues at high levels that could do it as the blue light penetrates water alot more than whites. So my guess if water quality is good then you didnt acclimate the corals to the new light.

Do you happen to have leathers? When they shed they can kill xenia and only xenia for some reason.

bump that salinity up to 1.026 slowly.

Frankly if everything else is fine, be grateful the xenia is dying. It'll take over every last thing in the tank.
