This is so that I can plan ahead for the day when my current main pump has problems, not a must buy today case.

I have a 6 foot 150 display tank and a 50 gallon sump.
my sump and tank are such that I must use a submerged pump for the return pump.

currently the punmp that came with the tank is a jaebo dct-1500.

what would a good replacement pump be ?

same or stronger flow.

a plus if it is stronger and can be controlled by my apex controller to lower or raise flow as wanted.

Hi figuerres,

Unfortunately, we do not have any Apex-controllable pumps available at this time.

However, for a good pump we would recommend having a look at the Deepwater Aquatics BLDC15 (http://www.marinedepot.com/Deepwater_Aquatics_BLDC15_DC_Brushless_Water_Pump_2000_Gallons_Per_Hour_Higher_External_Aquarium_Pum ps-Deepwater_Aquatics-PL00527-FIWPEPOH-PL00530-vi.html). It is capable of pumping up to 23.6" and is extremely well-built and reliable.
