This tank has been running for about two years as is sits currently. I've upgraded and down sized back to this tank from a 150. Most of the livestock I've had for about 8 years.

Very nice though, are those t5? Care to share bulb combo if they are?

It's a sailfin(and let's not start a discussion about it being in a 75 please) and it doesn't act aggressive or erratic or anything like that.

Ever think about painting the back of the tank? Imo it brings out the colors more.

I've thought of it and still might do. What color would be better black or blue?

Probably hide the overflow and pipes good too.

Yeah, it does a good job hideing stuff also, but you tank looks pretty clean behind the tank.

You can spray or paint plasti-dip on the back if you are worried about damaging the tank. It actually protects it and peels right off when you don't want it anymore.

The back of my 55g is plasti-dip:

Beautiful tank! I think adding a black background would really make it pop more. I've always like black over blue

Beautiful tank!! I also vote for the black background. Rolled mine on using oil based paint, prefer black over blue to add contrast with the Corals.

This looks like from a different tank. Maybe just a cycle of some sort.

My 40 is painted blue. Looks great and reflects more light. Just be careful if u spray it because the overspray will get under the trim and it looks terrible. Luckily mine is right at the waterline so u barely notice it if the top is off. Sweet tank bro. Wish my 75 looked like that when I had it going. I'm digging your dosing setup. Haha. 1 pump from each jug straight over the sump?

Beautiful tank for sure! I am a Euphyllia nut and would like to see a close up of yours. Hard to tell from the picture but guessing its a hammer? How many heads does it have. I really do love the mature colonies of Euphyllia.

Also is that a tree branch or what in the back on the right side that your SPS are on? That's really cool!

Great looking tank!!

This will defintely be on the short list of tanks that will be on my insperation list :D

Your tank also made me thinik twice about going the LED route on my next build.

This is such a beautiful tank! Any chance you have any shots of it without coral so we could see the aqua scape? What's your maintenance schedule like? Agree that it needs a black background, but it already looks amazing!

Where are you located?

I'm no lighting guru but I have used mh, LEDs, and T5. Right now I'm huge fan of the T5s, LEDs I had running was a custom setup I made and if I use them in the future I will buy fixture(let some else do the research and put it together).

Ok.. Well I can officially stop blaming my lights! haha

Some of the corals I bought when I lived in SW Florida and the rest were from swapping with a friend down there.

Very nice. I'm trying to figure out how you have an eight year old clam and no coralline algae. :)

This tank was dry at the time before I moved. Before I upgraded to a 150g it was covered in coraline

That was my first reef tank and it was a 10g.

Simplicity is key

I'll work on a close up of the corals later. It's a frogspawn actually and one of the first corals I was able to keep. Don't know how many heads are on it but before I moved it took up the whole left side to almost 1/3 of the overflow. The other part I took to the LFS almost didn't fit in a 5g bucket.

Great looking tank!!

This will defintely be on the short list of tanks that will be on my insperation list :D

Your tank also made me thinik twice about going the LED route on my next build.

That is the first I've had someone say that my tank is on thier an inspiration list.

Sorry no pictures of the aqua scape prior to corals. My maintenance schedule is horrible right now. I try to do a 30g water change every month, which has only happened 2 to 3 times in the year I've lived in this house. I Try to dose every other day, that gets skipped sometimes and try to test once a month which does happen. My wife and I are trying to start a farm and that takes priority over the tank.

The tank looks great, so I guess you dose by hand. looks like you got that down pat.

One day I would like a dosing system, hopefully on the dream tank.
