Hello.
i have problems id this fish.
when i got it 2 years ago it was totally coal colored. no colors what so ever.
but recently it has started to change color.
any ideas.

Looks like a yellow eye kole tang to me

Eye color is wrong for flavicauda isn't it? C. striatus?

Could be a hybrid, Ctenochaetus flavicauda x striatus perhaps.

My other thoughts were c striatus or a hybrid of sorts

Would make sense. Their ranges do overlap.

That's what I was thinking as well. Lighting might just make the difference...
