I purchased a Blue LED 16 Watt clip-on light for the fuge in my sump. It looks really nice and blue but I can tell it's not worth shooting as far as lighting a fuge goes. So now I am looking to get a simple crook neck lamp. Can some ones suggest the correct wattage for the sump to grow micro and raise pods?
Thanks

I think your macro algae would do better with a warmer white light. Coral zooxanthellae like blue spectrum, but I think macro algae prefer white/red spectrum that is more like sun light. Any plant grow light t5 or led should work better.
