Has anyone has any experience or heard of any with the Drop series of Algae Scrubbers from Santa Monica Filtration? I am hoping to put one of these in my new tank once I get it set up in place of a skimmer or a GFO reactor.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I didn't receive the results I needed when I added an ATS to my system, but it reminds me that at the beginning, i didn't receive the results I wanted on my smaller tank at the start too. I had high phosphate issue, but no hair algae, and all adding the ATS did was started growing hair algae in the DT. If you have a phosphate leaching from something, a remover is better than an ATS, but if you want to remove a skimmer, I guess it could work, and it's been commonly done. That's my opinion
