View Full Version : Missing gramma?
So I added a royal gramma to my 150 a few weeks ago now it's been gone for 3-4 days and I noticed my brittle star looking fat could he have eaten my gramma? It was the smallest fish in my tank (2ins)
It's not a green brittle star
It has smooth banded arms

i dont see how it would get to it unless it was dead on the sand.
Well idk the central disk on my brittle star (4inch arm span) was like a ball not flattened then after that I noticed the gramma gone
He ate well in qt and didn't have any issues in the 150 he was pretty shy only eating things that came within an inch or two of his little crevice

have you checked the overflows and/or the sump?
Sump is empty he would've gone in the sock and it's empty
I'll check the overflow I don't think he could fit through the pre filter foam

How much rock work do you have? I had a Black Cap that went missing and showed up over two months later... as it turned out, it was hiding from a Yellow Candy Hogfish that was bullying him. Yours could have been eaten or it could be in hiding.
Good luck
