every singe clownfish i have ever had has somehow gotten through the overflow into the refugium. earlier today, i found my clownfish in the fuge AGAIN even though the overflow is completely blocked off and the tank is covered. maybe he is an alien. i really dont know. does your clownfish do this?

I keep mine with anemones and they never leave them, so nope.

You need to put something with smaller teeth around the overflow so they don't go in it. I have had fish go into my overflow but I have strainers over the ends of the bulkhead to keep them from going down the tube to the sump.

Never. :::knocks on wood:::

Could there be anything chasing him into the overflow
I'd be surprised if that were the case because mine snaps back at my huge desjardini, but if he isn't hosted by something, another fish may be pushing him around.

Just a thought.

I have no anemones in my tank. The clownfish is the dominant fish, because there is only one other goby in the tank.

Honestly no, get some bird netting for ponds at Home Depot and put it on the inside teeth of the overflow
