My six lined wrasse was the first fish in my tank, which looking back was a terrible idea. Anyways I got a new goby today and he wouldn't stop being aggressive so I set a little trap and seperated him from the rest of the tank. Do you think if I leave him like this for a bit he will quite trying to kill my goby? If so how long should I leave him in tyere?

Bring it back to a LFS and trade it for something else. That fish will remain very aggressive till the day it dies.

Depends on the size of the tank somewhat, but I've got a mystery (same genus) in a 300 and it doesn't tolerate some fish even in that size tank. Likely he will always be aggressive. I'd trade it in.
