How did you acclimate? They can be shy at first. Going forward you should consider a qt protocol. Also what are your parameters?

Give your fish time to get used to his surroundings. Sometimes it takes a few days for fish to start eating

I floated the bag for 15 min and than I added water from my fishtank every 5 min 3 times and I had 2 but one of them died last night , I have him in a 90 gallon tank and I went to test it out and the guy from the reef shop told me the amonia was a little high so he told me to do a water change before ,but how can I make him eat will he die if he doesn't eat by tomorrow? 336203

If possible all fish should be in a quarantine tonk for 4 to 6 weeks before going to DT. Than like most thing in this hobby QT is also controversial.

He won't die if he doesn't eat for a day. If he dies it'll be something else, not starvation. Give him some time! I had a fish disappear entirely for 3 weeks, I thought for sure he was dead.

How long has your tank been up and running. In my opinion any ammonia is too much ammonia. Sounds like you aren't cycled yet. Can you explain your cycle process? Maybe add some prime to detoxify the ammonia and do another water change. Not eating for a couple days won't kill your fish but the ammonia surely will.

you can't "make" a fish do anything.

Reposting the same photo isn't helping us, btw
