This anemone was pretty small to begin with and now it's been hosting two porcelain anemone crabs and two juvenile clowns for around 6 months. When I bought it, one crab was hosting a mini maxi and the other wandered the tank. As soon as the anemone and clowns went in they paired up and moved in.
I have seen that you shouldn't overfeed them; I've been feeding it a few small (shelled) mysis nearly every day in an effort to increase its size because I assume the bigger it is the better it can handle all of the abuse. The crabs grab some, the nem gets some. It seems happy, hasn't moved in months, and stays inflated most of the time but its tentacles are definitely... tweaked from being constantly walked on by the crabs (I don't care about the cosmetics, just its health). It's probably doubled in size over the past few months. Should I cut back on feeding anyway?
I'm also curious about how the crabs might impact healing if it splits.
