I purchased a frag that I thought was a hammer coral, but now that it's in my tank I think it's a frogspawn... however, I'm a beginner - so I'd like some confirmation one way or the other!

It might be the Grape coral outlined in the link below. (Euphyllia cristata)

Cloak, what indicates a grape coral? To me it looks like a torch, but then again I've got a hammer that doesn't have hammer tips more closely to a torch but I do know its a hammer. Too many of these corals look like something else and I'd like to learn from what your observation was to indicate a grape. Thank you!

The shorter stubbier polyps led to that guess. I also think it may be a e. cristata
