Anyone use their Apex for non-tank-related tasks? I do. It controls all my X-Mas lights.

Love the apex, but it couldn't control my Christmas lights :)

I wouldn't use my Apex for LED control. I have about a dozen controllers on 5 networks using 4 protocols that I am putting together. Over 10,000 channels. RGB and lots of pixels.

Good lordy, if that's for tank lighting that is as your name suggests, insane! Seriously what's that monstrosity running?

Are your neighbors all in the hospital from having seizures or do they just close the blinds this time of year? :lolspin:

Not a bad Idea, I know a few people that use them when they leave for vacation to turn the lights on/off randomly as if they were home, along with the TV and other things.......and for fun watching thru the web cam and scaring the crap out of their cats when they get too close to the tank.......

It is for running a 40 square foot prop of many thousands of decorative RGB and Pixel LED's, some strobes and a bunch of EL Wire. It is one of my crazy projects done just for giggles. I will do a music video of it when I get it finished.

I am putting 8 or 10 Radions over the 8 tanks I am setting up. XR15 FW, XR15w Pro & XR30w Gen3.

Doing crazy no budget projects is my newest thing. It's fun.
