Okay i figured this would go in the equipment forum since its tech hardware i hope.

I figured i would try out the apex fusion test log when i select salfriet alk test low range and i enter my test result reading its giving me a different dkh reading. Am i doing something totally wrong and stupid? If i got a reading of .68 i multiply 4.8x2 which is 9.6 why is the apex program telling me my alk is 10.24?? yes i did run the test in low resolution 2ml of water 2blue drops

Right, you don't have to multiply by 2 as Fusion does that for you. Just tell it Low as you did. Personally I run my Salifert tests high for better accuracy.

.68 / 2 is .34 which if you look on that chart is what Fusion is telling you as well.

Although 4.8 x 2 isn't 10.24 so got me there. I can see the confusion.

just input whatever gives you the actual value per your testing.. looks like the math is wrong in fusion.

Ok yea i was just thrown off by the math wasn't sure if i was confusing something. I would think a reading of 9.6 is pretty different then 10.24 dkh,
Thanks for the tip that high range is more accurate i usually just did low to get more test. Do you recommend using the high range on all there test?

I would always use high. Why risk it.
