Bought a valentini puffer from my lfs ans would like to purchase more. (40 gallon tank) would this be possible? How many puffers can i get ? If so, any puffer recommendations? Thinking of a blue spotted puffer

I think with a 40 you should do no more than the 1 you have.

Possible yes, but you'd only have one eventually

You should only do one. I had a Valentini now have blue spot. Valentini died when trying to trim his teeth. I got them trimmed up but he wouldn't eat after that. So make you stay up with feeding them hard shelled foods to wear them down. I've been feeding my blue spot shrimp with shell and it seems to help.

How do you trim them up? I just feed shrimps with shells and stuff
