View Full Version : Is my 8w gamma UV even worth messing with?
So, I have this little 8w gamma UV from current USA that I've used for over a decade. I'm thinking about redesigning my plumbing to be more efficient.
Is it even worth the effort to mess with this thing? What's the word on these old gamma UV units?
Sorry, I finally found the link to it:

8w for a 55g plus all your water volume? No, not worth messing with.

Bummer. Guess a smart uv is in my future.

I always recommend AquaUV products for people looking to use UV.

+1 on the Aqua UV
Well then. Thanks gents. If I ever run into a spare 300 bucks I know where it's going.
Time to pick up some extra shifts:
