Looking forward to your new shots!

Hi
Love all the shots ,im still trying to get there with macro.

Bill

Two important things with macro:
1: when shooting through the front glass, put the camera lens right up against the glass so the lens is perfectly perpendicular to the glass and the camera is stabalised. This helps a lot for clarity of the image..
2: when doing top downs, the best image will come when using a viewing box.

Sorry, can't resist.. :)

Beautiful pictures here guys. I must start learning to take better macros. Are you using macro lenses?
Any other tips you can give would be appreciated by all

Hey Mike,
I'm using a 100ml f2.8 macro lens.
I try to turn off all the pumps and use as slow a shutter speed as I can to get a greater depth of field. The slower the shutter, the more light the camera has available to it but obviously the image is prone to more blurring. You have to be as steady as you can and get your subject as immobile as possible.

Just keeping the phone against the tank glass and using the zoom.

Picture size 16 M and Exposure value -1. All the rest is as it comes from factory. It has an excellent camera.

Yes, me too. The Note 4 from Samsung has a very nice camera and I am only changing the exposure time.

My thread is full of pictures with this phone. Take a look to it, search my nickname.
