It's been a long expensive and fun. A ton of ups and downs. But what the hell! Looking good! A 180 is ALOT of real estate to cover for a reef tank. Can't wait to see what it looks like filled in. Good work.

Try to feed 3x a day. Nori is a must(Achilles). New life pellets, nori, then frozen.

Well thankfully you switched the lights, so colonies are on the horizon. Obsess on your alk being stable as well as salinity and PO4. Just keep it stable no matter where you like to keep any of those three params. Ps, tons of ridiculous flow helps, and I know your like me so you got this bro.

I got ya bro. Been anal about parameters this time around. I have been testing like a lot. Also juiced up the flow and added another mp40. Now the 3 mp40s and a mp60. I have been using Kalk in my top off, and had good luck with it. Also 2 part of course.
As for the lights. You would laugh at my diy t5 led combo. Running 12 39w and 4 36" led strips with good results. And colors are on point.

Took a gamble, and bought it right out of the bag from apc in southington. I think 4 or 5 months ago? Tough to get to eat. But has settled in well. I would not have got it if I wasn't running a 57w uv.

Lost big $$$ in fish a while back. And killed a bunch of coral. Over a stupid bad test kit! So now I buy two of everything . Also, I swear by a uv now. Especially with tangs. Crazy part is I sold mine, then like a &$&! Had to buy another one lol.

I made that mistake. The Easter egg I have has yet to meet coral it can't devour.

Really well done! Interesting a lot of the methods you now use are what helped me as well. The kalk, UV, T5 and high flow with obsessive testing. Kinda reassures me it was what helped me and not a coincidence or just an older more biologically mature system.

Saw this tank in person. It's a beast and when those sticks grow in its either gonna look like a real life reef you can snorkel in. Or Pauly is gonna have to open up a pet shop and start selling frags lol. Looking good bro

I got a 60 rimless frag tank cycling. Going to clean up the sand bed, and remove frag racks etc.

Soon you'll be driving a lowered S-10, have a JD museum, triple neck skimmer, vape clouds everywhere, no hair....wait got that covered :love1:

Just make sure you only run it on every Thursday during a full moon, Monday when it rains and on leap day...but for only 4 hours cause that's what Pay Pay does

Anyway...tank looks awesome and sounds like a killer frag tank!

Ahh, wrong, I gave that truck to my son with 27k miles on it. I have hair, just not allot lol. And I ramped up to 7 hours a day now, still no Sat or Sun, don't want to see it lol.
