6080 sucking through outlet after replacing impeller.

So I replaced the impeller on a 6080 (ordered part from tunze) and the flow is now revers d blowing water around the sides while sucking from the center.

If the drive unit is the correct 6080.600, the brake shoes are not engaging properly to stop it from spinning backwards. Either the brakes are worn, the collar is worn or loose or the bearing at the bottom is compressed or in the wrong position. For the 6080 you need a 6080.600 type drive unit and 6080.120 propeller, the drive units without brakes like 6100.700 will not work on a 6080.
