I have had an anemone for 3 weeks now and it was doing fine up until a couple of days ago. It looks like a snail that is decaying. I have moved it to a spot with better flow and it looks like it is slowly getting worse. I have no idea what to do now. I am not sure if there is any sort of supplements I can add to help. I have tried to feed it with no luck. any help is appreciated. I have attached pictures below of the slow progression hopefully a full recovery.

A week after I got it:

sorry to hear that. how long since you setup the tank? i personally waited 6 months until i get an anemone. don't move an anemone at all, if you want to move it put a power head toward it and let it move by it self spesially if it's new to the tank. get a big one i think bigger anemones can handle the stress. give them piece of a silversides every week. for this anemone sorry to tell you that you have to move it out. it will die and create more waste. try to recover it in a cycled QT with good quality water light and water movement

Like a.baka asked we need some more info. How big is the tank(not entirely relevant) but could have had a bio load problem, which also bring us to how old is the tank? Have you tested your water parameters? Without some more specific info on your tank and water we cannot really draw a conclusion. I'm a new member here but I have been running a 36 gal tank for about a year now with only one loss, my poor torch. I added an anemone about 2 months ago and he's doing well. Sorry to see what happened to yours. Hopefully you can fill us in on some info and we can try to find a reason for the loss.

It is only about 4 months old. I think that I found out what my issue was, my heater decided to take a dive and I didnt notice in time. I ended up pulling it out and flushing it. Thank you for all your help.
