I've had this frag of Zoanthids for about three weeks now and they are still closed. They partially opened the day after I put them in the tank, but closed shortly after. We removed it last week and 'dipped' it again like my LFS said. It has started growing some type of algae (I think?) on the polyps. It is getting med/low lighting and mod/low flow.

Perameters are :
Nitrate 5
pH 8.2
Salinity 1.023
Magnesium 1240
Calcium 350
Alkalinity 6

Try reducing the size of the picture. You can use MS Paint on your computer open it in that program and click the resize and reduce to 75%. You have to have pictures under 2mg in order to post them.

Can't say about the zoas, but your salinity could be brought up which may be sufficient adjustment to your mg/ca/alk to meet this recommendation (http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-05/rhf/).
