Hi guys, i've been toying around an idea with adding a frag tank beside my main tank. Here's a quick and lousy drawing of my idea.

Main tank's 90x45x45cm. frag tank's gonna be 45x45x25cm (LxBxH). main tank runs bean animal overflow, and planning to get the frag tank done with durso or simple silent overflow.

i runs the main return pump which splits to 3 way, 2 to main tank and 1 to the chiller (the chiller return goes back to the sump), i know this isn't the best way but its been working well.

In the picture above, the chiller returns goes to the frag tank and will be drained by the overflow back to the sump. In return, chilling the main tank.

My question is, will this hinder the chiller's capability to chill both tank? and does this plan have any foreseeable disaster?

PS: the "cabinet" for the frag tank will be an open-concept wooden cabinet, no doors front and back for ventilation for the chiller.
Thanks!

I run my frag tank similarly, though no chiller chez moi. Might want to consider dual drains on the frag tank though. I don't run any overflow-based reservoir on my system without redundant drains.
