quick question: how do we know that a soft coral is truly growing (toadstool, devil's hand, mushroom finger leather...), and when is it time to frag it?

Take monthly pictures of it. It's ready to frag when it gets out of hand or when you decide.

i have been doing regular pictures, but they'll fluctuate in size from day to day, in terms of "soft" corals, only the bta has consistently grown in size as well as sps corals, but i have not been getting a sense of size increase of the others, so they will grow bigger to the point where i'll need to frag them. thanks!
