Just thought I'd share, I have a Reef Octopus int 150 and it started having tiny bubble issues after a year of working great. I wouldn't really call them micro bubbles just somehow the usual bubbles were bypassing the built in bubble trap in the body of the skimmer. I'm fairly good about cleaning the skimmer every month or so, ever 6 months full on vinegar bath and rinse. But I was missing the air opening just before the pump intake, this is what caused the problem in had become constricted down to almost no airflow due to salt or calcium buildup in the inside of the air intake. Just thought I'd pass this along to anyone having same issue.
