Hello all,
I was getting ready to purchase a skimmer for my new build. I found a RSLL DB8i as seen here (guess site is not an allowed link) but I have been unable to find any reviews on it. It also appears that there just aren't many RSLL skimmers in use?

I did like this about the new skimmer - "In addition to using controllable Gen 2 DC Waveline Pumps, which are also Apex Ready, the new DBi skimmers benefit from using a hybrid needle wheel impeller which uses both standard impeller blades and needle-pins to give the Waveline more pressure to fill up the skimmer body, while it is generating the froth necessary for efficient protein skimming."

What are you thoughts.

Should I look at the Aquamax Q2 again?

I use the RLSS R6i and it is the best skimmer I have owned so far. I have owned Reef Octopus, Aquamaxx, Vertex, ASM, Red Sea. Here are some videos and a review I found.

Well,
Not sure I am going to do the RSLL skimmer. Not enough people using them so there is very little feed back on them.

I think I am back on the AquaMaxx.

If it works it is great however the support from the manufacturer is very poor. I ended up returning my DB-10i. Thanks to the retailer I bought from I was able to swap to the always truste Reef Oct.
