I've got incredible hammers and frog spawns. I've had great luck with RBTA. But for what ever reason the torch is a slow death every time I try. I wish I knew what the magic was. I'm feeding reef roids. Everything seems to like what I'm doing.

I have also tried a handful of torch frags and never had luck with them. Always seemed to do well for a few weeks before succumbing to brown jelly disease. Hammers and Frogspawn on the other hand are thriving without any issues

Branching torch or wall torch?

I cant keep them too. Though its not them dying its me removing them. There sweeper tentacles frustrate me, stinging this coral, that coral every coral.

Torch's need to be at least 6" away from anything accept another torch.

Wall torch's are difficult to keep if the original torch was fragged. If it's a complete wall torch it will do much better. If you do happen to buy a fragged wall torch do an iodine dip or a dip in Revive prior to placing it in your tank. This process goes as well for wall hammers or wall frogspawn.

I've lost every wall hammer, torch and frogspawn that I've had in the past. I now currently have a complete never fragged wall hammer and it's doing well. My torch's, hammers and frogspawn are doing well also as they're the branching type.

So if you do get a wall Euphyllia keep both iodine and Revive on hand to help combat the brown jelly or any other infection they can get. They'll also get this if any fish pick on them or they are damaged in any way.

Also it's important to keep STABLE water parameters for coral health. Stable means no swings of any part of your parameters.

So the branching type are much hardier and more forgiving than the wall types.
