I'm not sure either, since the link brings me to "page not found." Seeing as it's a facebook link to a theater image, we'd probably either have to be you, or at least your friend for that link to work.

There we go, now I can see it. Sounds like bunk to me, but it also doesn't seem like they're trying to sell me anything. I'm sure a skimmer does a more than sufficient job at aerating the tank without introducing microbubbles all over the tank. I don't think it would help with dino or cyano either.

Nah. Microbubbles are annoying, they cloud the water and can interfere with some processes. Like the same effect they are talking about on Dino is pretty bad for your sponges etc. The best way to oxygenate the water is a well designed flow pattern in the tank. You want the stale water from the depths to be carried up and across the surface to exchange gas with the air. Skimmers and bubblers are much less effective IMO because the surface area is so much less. They just look oxygeny cause you can see all the bubbles.

Plus you're going to have a salt creep mess in your sump.

I am not really buying into that. As Cstrickland pointed out good water flow is the key. As far as the "correct" pH part, one could achieve the same goal by running an air tube outside for the skimmer to draw on.
