Light stand/bracket

I recently bought a pair of eBay LED lights and wanted to know what is the best way to mount the lights to the tank. I currently have 14' ceilings so mounting them from the ceiling to me would not be a good idea.

Is there such a thing of over the tank mounts or hang on back mounts?

Yes, I am not sure what brand LED you purchased, but most lighting manufacturers have tank style mounts. You should be able to use them one of those even if you have a DIY LED fixture. I'm sure others will comment to assist you. Check out Ecotech and Kessil for starters. There are others.
