So I got a salifert kit and just realized I've been reading it wrong. I've been using red sea kits since I started the tank nearly a year ago and you take the reading starting at the 9 and counting down. With the salifert kit you flip the syringe over and read from the tip(I was reading it like a red sea kit).

So right now I just did a water change and dosed up the WC water(using randys 2 part recipe 1) to what I thought was 9DKH, but now that I figured out I was reading the kit wrong my tank sits at well over 12DKH(the salifert kit doesn't even change color unless I add nearly 2 full syringes full of titrant). My tank is cloudy as hell from all the alkalinity I added, my PH isn't horribly high at 8.38. But I'm worried about my inhabitants. Should I be worried or will it work itself out? Should I do another WC, or just leave it be?

Stop the two part and do a few 20% wc's every third day.
