I'm just curious how quickly ammonia may spike in a hospital tank? I didn't cycle it due to the fact that ill be medicating so I'm gonna be diligent on water changes. The only problem i may see if i have classes back to back all day tomorrow so won't be home to do a water change until the evening. All the tank is, is a 10 gallon tank with a small clown that was just added.

1 day won't have any problem if you had been diligent with water changes.. just make sure to suck out left over food after feeding. if water is several days old and possibly dirty, you can add Seachem Prime or other ammonia removing product. Do water change when you get home..

if you are really paranoid about this, add some Instant Ocean Bio-spira or Dr. TIm's one and Only. You are basically instant cycling the QT.

I literally just put him in maybe an hour or two ago. Didn't eat in the display tank so I'm not gonna feed until I know I can at least monitor for the rest of the weekend.
