I have a 220 gallon reef and having an issue that I can't figure out. i have frog spawn, hammers, and a few torch corals.. the skeletons of my torch seems to be dissolving.. eroding.. being eaten away.. something is killing it quickly. I have checked all my parameters and everything seems fine..

PH: 8.15
Ca-490
KH - 8.6
Alk - 3.09

340613

Anyway.. any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

yeah, sorry. meq/l.

Also, this isn't happening to anything else but my one torch. frogspawn and hammers are completely unaffected. it doesn't appear that anything is eating it either.

I had a skeleton on my frog spawn start to do this and turns out I had black bugs in the tank. Had to dose interceptor in the tank to eradicate them. I ony saw them as I was staring at the coral with a flashlights and happened to see a few black specs move...

a magnifying glass confirmed...
