Hey all,
In the past I use to have a golden dwarf moray eel and in the 3 months span I had him he escaped down into the sump 3 times and out of the tank 2 times. I had glass tops and he managed to get loose quiet often. I now have a 150g RR marineland tank and I wanted to get a pair of golden dwarfs, but before I pull the trigger I want to eel proof my overflow. I've got the glass tops secured down pretty tight so I'm not worried about that aspect.

What are your ideas for eel proofing the overflow box? If he gets into the sump he may be able to squirm right out of the sump due to how my filter socks are set-up. I would love to hear how I can eel proof the overflow. They are such cool little creatures and it would break my heart to loose one or both to carpet surfing.
