Hello everyone!

It is common for Coral banded Shrimps to lose a limb or two and to re-grow them during the next few molting cycles. my CB shrimp lost 2 legs and both claws during the molting yesterday. He looks more like like a cleaner skunk shrimp now. What might have caused this to happen?
Also, what is the molting frequency of a CB shrimp? Mine molted just one month ago and he did it again yesterday.
Inhabitants
3 x Feather Dusters
1 x Green Chromis
1 x Ocellaris
1 x Sand Sifting Star
1 x Purple dottyback

Thank you for the time to read this.

Cheers.

I have seen mine molt multiple times in short periods of times and at this point it has been months since I've seen a molt, not sure what causes it to change frequency, as far as missing body parts I have never seen that. did something get a hold of it while still susceptible and soft?

I bought a pair once and tried acclimating them together, big mistake. The one grabbed the other and pinched a pincher right off. It grew back and they are now a pair again.
