I was wondering if anybody uses or has success using the Hanna instruments testers?

I like the alk. and the nitrite checker. My favorite is the HI98311

I was a fan of the alk until the recent problems. Ulr po4 still a fav of mine, but otherwise I don't use them.

i use the alk, low range phos, and calcium ones, the calcium one take time and patients to get it to read correctly, if you go with calcium one buy extra reagents and use rodi water, just ro will give you a problem

I use alk, low range phosphates and calcium. The alk is very simple to use but check and see if your batch of reagent is on the recall and they will send you a new batch.
I think they are great and you can usually get them on sale during black friday for around 40$ each.

+1 on the alk and ulr phosphorus both easy to use and the ulr phosphorus reads low levels usually undetectable by most kits
