I'm rebuilding a 125g reef & wondering what supplements to stock up on. Been reading & finding lots to choose from. I know the basics like pH buffer, iodide, calcium. If seen combo packs like the 1 that Kent offers but I'm wondering if I would need everything in the pack or if I should buy separate, what brands are better; etc. Just looking for some opinions or thoughts. I want a healthy reef my family & I can enjoy for years.

The basics are calcium and alkalinity. A 2-part like B-Ionic is an easy way to get started. This article has more:

If you want to be more adventurous, a calcium reactor driven by carbon dioxide and Kalkwasser are probably two of the more common alternatives to a 2-part.

Thanks Jonathan. That's a lot to read but read it I will. Knowledge can't hurt right. I've read a couple of them already & find the info very helpful. Thanks again.
