Looking to be able to add some water when evoporation is higher (my ATO is timed, not float based) and still have my overfill protection.
I have forgot to turn my ATO back to AUTO twice and was saved by my PH alarm.
So I would use a virtual outlet, named Refill1h, normaly set to AUTO. When I need to refill for XX minutes (let say 5) I switch it ON then AUTO. The logic work (tested) but would like to have some double check.. My ATO would have if Refill1h = On then On.
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Outlet Refill1h = ON Then OFF
Min Time 005:00 Then ON

Why not add a momentary switch like a garage door opener button connected to the breakout box?? Then do something like this which at the push of a button would turn the ATO pump on for 5 minutes. I use this method to turn my mix pump on for 60 minutes with the push of a garage door button. In the example below, Sw1 is I/O port 1 on the breakout box.
Virtual outlet reflill1h:
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Sw1 OPEN Then OFF
If Sw1 CLOSED Then ON
Defer 005:00 Then OFF
ATO Outlet:
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Outlet Refill1h = ON Then ON

I tought about it but I'm upgrading really soon and would prefer not to add anything to this tank and using a switch means I nees to do it physicly vs on Apex fusion.
I could probably use the feed timer too

You could use both fusion and the switch. If you turn the virtual outlet on, it would be the same as pressing the button and the button is really simple to add if you have a breakout box. All it takes is a cheap momentary button like a garage door button or toggle switch and a 2 wire cable like garage door opener wire. Push the button and the pump turns on. Turn the virtual outlet on for a moment then switch it back to auto and the pump turns on.
