I currently have a 125g that I'm going to do a mix reef. Right now I have a ADHI sump w/refug that I bought used awhile back. It's only about 20g or less total (probably 16g during operation). I'm learning this is just too small for my 125g. I have a 55g that will fit under my stand that I think could be converted to a sump/refug fairly easy. Would like to hear some thoughts or advice on the build.

I just seen the DIY forum. I should have posted this thread there, sorry.

I made my own sump from a used 75 gal tank I bought off of craigslist and siliconed in a few baffles

a diy sump IMO is the best way to go, easy to build and you can build it to fit your needs. I use a 100 rubbermaid stock tank and a 50 gal stock tank as my sump/fuge and it works great, I also have them in the basement so I have lots of room.
