Saw this blog entry (http://www.advancedaquarist.com/blog/euroquatics-e5-fluorescent-lamps-now-available-in-the-usa) yesterday. Looks interesting. The bulbs are $70 each for the 4' size and come in 4 different spectra. It would be a significant initial outlay, but if the life expectancy and output are as advertised it would be an easy way to convert a T5 fixture to LED and save money on bulb replacement as well.
Curious if anyone has any experience with them or seen any testing regarding effective PAR levels, etc?

There is someone on another site doing a tear down and measurements on one of these, so we should have some good info on these soon.
FYI they are white phosphor only leds.
