Anyone have a definitive answer to this? Depending on what vendor I ask I get a different answer. Anyone running one of these through their apex?

There are several that have done this. Do a google search for jebao DC with apex. Torx is the username of the guy who seems to know all about this.

Thanks for the reply. I know that the original batch of dc pumps were controllable with the torx harness, and then a control cable was released for sale. My question is if anyone is using that control cable to control the newest generation of dcs pumps. There seems to be some discrepancy as to whether these pumps work with the apex.

I have one of each running side by side DCS on a skimmer and the older DC as a return pump. The cables are identical although the the controller is different 10 power steps on DCS and only six on DC. I'm assuming it would work but don't know for sure. Hopefully someone that has done it will chime in. Google here I come.

Thanks for the link, but unfortunately it doesn't really help lol. I know that the module exists, what I don't know is if it works with the new generation of pumps. The dcs line. I have heard conflicting reports from various vendors and am trying to get to the bottom of this.

There must be something different about the DCS. I sent an email to Fish-Street to see if the DCS was compatible with their CoralBox battery back up. Their response was that it needed to go through the CoralBox Controller (ReefLink I think he said - don't have the email any more)
This leads me to believe that it may not work through the Jebao-Apex box. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.
Why not send Fish-Street an email?

In another thread, someone said fishstreet said it doesn't work, but reefbreeders said it does.

I dont recall where I found it, but when I did some research I think I found that the belief was that the DCS uses different voltage than the others and will not work on the apex controller.
I have not seen a solid answer on this.
