Have had a Reeflink for awhile just got and apex, and was wondering if it's worth getting the wxm module to replace Reeflink.
Currently have 2x mp40 , two radions, and vectra. Does Wxm work with all three or just mps?
Any input is appreciated

Nothing works with Vectra.

The Reeflink does.... I did read that they weren't gonna make the vectra apex capable ... You using a Wxm ?

sorry, I should have been clearer. Nothing from Neptune Systems is compatible with the Vectra pumps.
Where did you read that EcoTech is not going to make the Vectra compatible with Apex?

I had Apex and WXM first, so that's how I control my vortech pumps. I subsequently got a Vectra and reeflink, though I saw no reason to take the time to 'move' the vortechs over. I wouldn't think it'd be worth buying WXM if you already have reeflink.
I too read that ETM have no plans to allow vecrta to be WXM capable.

Get the reeflink. Neptunes promises of compatibility are a joke. I had the wxm for a long time. You bring up any lack of functionality, he forum will say, "nobody really uses that" or "thats just a simple thing to program over here in a couple hours". Or best response yet from the highest upper management lady I got ahold of, "we will never introduce those functions because we don't want people to confuse themselves with an overly-technical product".
Anyways, Neptune will never see my business again because of that wonderful experience.

Most people don't buy an Apex just to control EcoTech Marine products. To answer the OPS question, the WXM does not work with the Vectra but will work with the MP's and Radion's.

Someone's got an axe to grind clearly.

Skip the wxm it doesn't support a lot. Acclimation mode itself makes the reeflink worth it.

Ok first of all. If you're going to rant. Make it understandable. I'll agree that Neptune's ideas of customer support are a bit lacking. But they do make great products that work IF you know how to use them.
The Apex is a basic computer and it takes a little bit of programming to get the most out of it. But the commands really are pretty straight forward and easy to understand. And there isn't much you cant make it do with a bit of cleverness.
And from my experience The forums are very helpful Abeit slow to respond sometimes.

I had a Reeflink, bought an Apex WXM for my Apex, but I find it too problematic , dropping radions , I have to unplug and restart for it to respond. then it will drop my vortechs...
I just got fed up of trying absolutely everything and setup my Radions via ecosmart. everything works now.
Neptune CS was very good when I bought it but now its been 3 days that I have been waiting to address this issue and its very long. Really at the price of an Apex Gold + acc I thought they would have kept up with what I found was stellar service in the beginning.
I probably have a faulty WXM since my display which was plugged into the WXM aquabus went all blue with no writing....but I would like to get an answer faster from them. I`m probably going to go back to my Reeflink since it offers way more and unlike the past its more reliable and feature rich .

I should bring up that Ecotech should build on their market share of existing major equip and create their own controller. Most of people are already running their equipment and they are half way their with reef link and Ecotech live.
They shouldn't allow Neptune access to control any of their products.

I had a reeflink and it keeps dropping connection which is useless piece of you know what. Ecotech customer service tried numerous times to fix it, but never really fix anything so they blamed it on my APEX interference even though my APEX is hardwired to my router..... So I just sold the reeflink and opted to program my radions via USB. Ecotech wireless is not reliable at all for me. And don't think I want another Ecotech equipment after this experience.

I have a WMX controlling Vortechs for 3 years, works fantastic and without issue. As others have stated the Vectra support is not there, and there are no plans to make it work. Having said that what are you doing with the vectra from a programming point of view? I don't have a closed loop so not sure I would use the various modes on a general return pump.
