Hello,

Just getting back into the hobby after being out for maybe 4-5 years.

I purchased a QuietOne 3000 a few years ago to mix saltwater in a barrel. I just stuck the pump by itself in. However, now I am using the QuietOne 3000 as a return pump in my aquarium. The problem is that the pump vibrates against the side of the sump. One my Ehiem pump, there is a base that can come off and also has rubber suction feet. The base and the rubber feet helps against vibration. I can't seem to find a base for my QuietOne 3000 pump.

Question: Does the QuietOne 3000 come with a base and rubber suction feet?

Thanks
Minh

you could always try a few beads of aquarium silicone or hot glue if you can't find a base for the pump.

The quiet one 3000 pump comes with little rubber feet that you mount in the bottom.

You could also place a silicon pot holder underneath the pump if you can't find the rubber feet .

i bought a quiet1one 4000 about 2 months ago and can confidently say that it'll be replaced this year. the only time i would guess it's quiet is when its unplugged.

As someone said, They have small silicone matts for pots to sit on . Walmart has them.
