Just started up a brand new BRS 6 stage RO/DI unit with pressure and TDS guages. Pressure was fine at 60+ PSI and I ran it for about 12 hours and got about 35 gallons, I ran it again the next day and it seemed fine but pressure was down to around 40 PSI and only produced another 25 gallons. Third day the water is barely trickling out of the system from both the waste and clean water lines and the pressure gauge is under 10 PSI. I opened all the canisters and re-started. The water flowed nicely into the first 2 canisters but trickles into the 3rd canister and still virtually no flow. I'm at a loss since the pressure was fine on day 1. Going to call BRS but I wanted to see if anyone has had a similar problem with a quick fix. thank you

How do you have it connected to the water source?

No saddle value. connected to sink using the sink adapter.

spoke with BRS. After 2 days of trouble shooting returned the system for a replacement. Sounds like a faulty filter/carbon block

I purchased the same on Black Friday. Mines working like a champ. Hopefully the replacement does as well

Why did you have to return the whole system if it just needed a new carbon block?

Since BRS was not 100% sure is was the filters/carbon blocks they told me to send the whole unit back. They sent me a return label. They received it back on Monday and a new unit has already been shipped back out to me. Great customer service.

It appears the water in my area has some fine sediments which appears to have been glogging up the sediment filter. BRS replaced with a 5 micron sediment filter and 5 micron carbon block and that seems to have done the trick. System running at 60+ psi and no drop after running several days

In that case I would keep an extra set or 2 on hand all the time.
