Look at the sea side aquatics es5. Cone co-1 from aquamaxx is a good skimmer as well. Both under 300

Leaning towards the aquamaxx. I have a bm nac 5.5 now and sea side is pretty much the same thing so mehhh

Nyos have a good rep. They have a very small footprint.

I have been very happy with my Aquamaxx's, the EM series. They have been replaced with the "ConeS Q-Series".

eshopps skimmers should be looked at. They will be well below your price range as well, which leaves you with more money to put towards other things... Running the psk-75 on my 55 and it runs like a champ.

CO-1 would be perfect but just remember it needs to be deep water so make sure your sump can handle it first.
C0-1 skim very well but are cheaply made, well most skimmers in that price range are.

Think im leaning towards the cone q by aquamaxx or the curve 7 by BM ..

Sea side aquatics es5 over the bm. It's the same as the curve but comes with a sicce sk200 pump and it works very good. I like aquamaxx over sea side but in this skimmer size the sea side is better imo. Curve 7 is too big also. Es5. Jmo

I second this. They use the same pumps as the Aquamaxx, and have a full bodied design for more contact time, like the Reef Dynamics. If something happens to my Aquamaxx's, I will go back to them. I abandoned them when they ran the Atman pumps.

Found a Aquamaxx em200 for 300 bucks or the new q2 series for 350. However seen some people complain about the new model. What yall think

I absolutely love my EM series. You won't be disappointed.

Too big for a 62 gallon tank. Won't skim Consistently IMO

Both of them ?

Yes they're essentially the same skimmer. One's a space saver and one's not. Same pump and specs... 6" bodies with 720 lph of air draw. You'll need a smaller unit. If you're going to go aquamaxx get the co-1

I have the em200 skims consistently on my 66g so you should be good but I personally would aim for the CO1 for less noise and energy consumption.
