Hi all,

I have a 300 gallon mixed reef. It's been running about 8 months now. Everything is doing well, but not much growth from my stony corals. Softies are doing well. Parameters are stable/optimal.

My question is regarding lighting schedule and settings for the radions.

I've been running the "traditional reef" template with lights turning on at 2PM and turning off at midnight. Is that a good time period? How about the template?

Should I adjust the red and green settings down? (everything is at 100% on the individual led lights). My total percentage is at 65%.

This is a 300 gallon deep dimension tank.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

You mention you have softies. They could be stunting the growth of the SPS. I'm not too familiar with them, but if I recall, they release a toxin. Do you run any carbon or anything?

Also, what're your parameters. And how stable are they

No SPS. Just LPS.

ph 8.1
Alk 9
Mg 1350
Ca 420
Nitrites / Ammonia 0
Nitrates <5

Please limit suggestions to the lighting question, only. Schedule and settings seem right?
