I have recently cycled my tank and am having the expected dyatom explosion on the rocks. What is this stuff? Is it an algae? Will it fade away? Do i get something that eats it?

Doesn't look great.

It will eventually disappear. It is quite common in new setup tanks. Once your tank is cycled you can add your CUC which may help a little. Don't worry it will go away.

Diatoms are an algae and they are caused by excess silicate. There will always be excess silicate in a new tank. Everyone goes through the stage you're in now. You don't need to buy anything to eat it. Like scooter said it will die off over time as the silicate is used up.
