New tank up and running next step.

Finally filled the 65 gal. With sump 90% I used rock that was been out of the water for sometime and took some rock from my nano and threw it in. 70lb of new sand with about a cup of old sand. Heaters on, power heads running, no lights just yet or skimmer. Should this be enough to kick my cycle into gear?
What do you think the time frame should be? I know it's not a given timeframe and I have to test just seeing thoughts. Thanks

Please better define what "sometime" means in regard to how long the rock was out of water, as it will have a major influence on the likelihood of a new cycle.

I recommend placing a raw shrimp in the tank until the ammonia gets to around 3-4 ppm.
