He came in as a peacock but is not. It's about 4" long and a "basher"

Male G chiragra is what I'm thinking?

That does appear to be an adult male G. Chiragra.

"Basher", hahaha I like that!

He's made his burrow directly below a maxi mini carpet anemone. Do I need to worry about him remaining in the spot if he's being stung? He's technically in a "reef". Though there's no fish or inverts other than coral, a couple nems, and an urchin.

I wouldn't worry about him too much. He'll move if he needs to. G. Chiragra's are pretty tough. Any pics?

Only the first one. He made his home under some rock facing the back of the tank. There's some nice crevices in the rock facing the front so I'm hoping he relocates.

I have a female chiragra, she's been mine for over a year and she's gone from 3" to 4" after 3 molts, she's a total tank and a ruthless killer. Bright green body with pink antennal scales, antennae, maxipileds, uropods and pleopods. I actually asked for one of the males my supplier had but he sent me the wrong one, I'm grateful though because the colouration is stunning, wish I had a picture
